​Pick Up Rules

1 / When? Where? What Time?
  • When: Tuesday & Thursday nights

  • Time: 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM (Kick-off at 5:45 PM sharp)

  • Where: Huntington Beach Sports Complex (Field Tuft E)

  • Address: 18100 Goldenwest St, Huntington Beach, CA 92648

2 / PICK UP/FIELDS RULES

PLAYING RULES:

  • Players must check in 10 minutes before the start of the session to get a pinnie. Your "pinnie" is your ticket into the session

  • Games will be played 7v7 (with goal keepers) Maximum 21 players, split into 3 teams of 7 players each; games may be played 6v6 depending on numbers

  • Players will be randomly assigned to teams unless previously requested to play with other players

  • Games are 8 minutes long; Sessions are 1 hour 30 minutes - 2 hour

  • ​Time up when the ball goes out of play or back to the goalkeeper when clock reach 8 minutes

  • Winning team stays on; each team plays max (3) eight-minutes games in a row and then rest (1) game

  • Players must call their own fouls

  • Host has the right to kick a player out of the session for inappropriate/unsportsmanlike behavior

  • No slide, No tackling, No violent at all

  • Goalies can not pick up the up with their hands on a pass back from their own teammate 

  • When the ball hits the back net it is either a kick from the goal keeper or a corner kick from the white conner

  • If the ball goes out of play on the sidelines it is an indirect kick from where the ball went out

  • No hats, glasses, headphones phones/ear buds, or excessive jewelry 

  • Players must wear appropriate soccer attire and shoes for your safety 

  • If you are late you will be play on the 3 teams or wait to sub. 

FIELD RULES:

  • No Gum

  • No spitting inside

  • No food or drinks on the fields

  • Player leave trash ($5 fine)

  • No hanging on the nets and goals ($50 fine)

  • If you kick the ball out side of the fence you must go get it and get sub by other player (pay for the ball if lost or bring another one to the host)

  • No jumping over the walls

  • Recommended AF Cleat or Tuft shoe

How to Fund Your Account:

  • Meet the host at the pickup game to add funds to your account and RSVP. 

3 / REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY:
  • You must cancel your session 3 hours in advance to be moved to another nights pick up session or refunded

  • All cancellations made within 3 hours of your scheduled pick up session will result in a $5 penalty, the rest will be refund to your account.

  • The host is responsible for notifying every participant a minimum of 1 hour before the session starts if it will be canceling the session. Guests are responsible for making sure the host has current contact information. 

  • You must notify the host if you will be more than 5 minutes late to a session. If you are more than 30 minutes late the host will give your spot up to a "waitlister" without refund and you will be play on the 3rd team or wait to sub.
